Blockprint is a music festival produced by Clavette Entertainment, LLC ("Blockprint," "we," "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you interact with this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the site or submitting your phone number through our signup form, you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you sign up for text-message alerts, we collect the mobile phone number you submit and a record of your consent to receive marketing messages from us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics providers automatically receive standard request data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We use this data in aggregate to understand how the site is performing.
How we use information
- To send you text-message updates about Blockprint — including ticket on-sales, lineup announcements, schedule changes, and related festival news.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and our marketing.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Third-party services we rely on
We use a small number of vendors to run the site and our messaging program. Each is contractually bound to use your information only to provide their service to us.
- Hive (Hive.co) — our SMS marketing platform. When you submit the signup form, your phone number and consent record are stored by Hive on our behalf and used to deliver messages. See Hive's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — our website host. Vercel processes request data to serve the site. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics 4 — our website analytics provider. Google receives standard request data (IP address, browser, pages viewed, referrer) and uses it to give us aggregate, anonymized traffic insights. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — used to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site. Meta receives the pages you view, your browser and device, and a pseudonymous identifier. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
Text messaging program
By submitting the signup form, you expressly consent to receive recurring marketing text messages from Blockprint at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop messages, reply STOP to any text. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the email below. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the vendors listed above, with our legal and professional advisors, in connection with a sale or restructuring of the business, or when we are required to do so by law.
Data retention
We keep your phone number and consent record for as long as you remain subscribed to our messages, and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain proof of consent and honor opt-out requests. Aggregated usage analytics are retained on a rolling basis per our analytics provider's standard retention.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP. You can also email us at info@blockprint.la to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to request deletion, the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email above.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets a small number of cookies. Google Analytics 4
sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*)
to distinguish unique visitors and measure session activity.
The Meta Pixel sets cookies (such as _fbp) to
attribute ad performance and enable retargeting on Facebook
and Instagram. Vercel may set cookies for hosting and
performance purposes.
You can block or limit these cookies through your browser settings. For analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For Meta's advertising cookies, adjust your Facebook ad preferences.
Children
Blockprint is a 21-and-over event and this site is intended for an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe someone under 18 has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy here; if the change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll notify SMS subscribers via text first.
